Morgan starred as a woman in AIDS prevention and educational video Safe Sex for Men and Women. The proceeds of this video were donated in part to the American Foundation for AIDS Research. Morgan is a member of the Entertainment Industry AIDS Task Force. Morgan is a member of the Entertainment Industry's AIDS Task Force. Morgan has also led several other fundraising efforts to fight AIDS and has testified in front of a specially-created Congressional Committee about AIDS Education. She also serves as a Board of Directors for Amfar and on the board of Governors of APLA. C. Everett Koop asked her at times to take his place in AIDS activities. She also hosted a AIDS Awareness Special together with anchorman Steve Bell. Ted Koppell interviewed Morgan twice for Nightline about AIDS. Morgan is nominated by the Emmys to be a part of Diane English's Murphy Brown special written especially specifically for Morgan. In spring, she co-starred with Joan Rivers in ABC television's Your Money or Your Wife. Summer began with Murder At The PTA Luncheon that was created by Von Zeerneck and Sertner. Marla Gibbs and Cindy Williams were also on the show. The next film she was in sent Morgan to Luxembourg to star in Harmony Gold's production Sherlock Holmes and the Leading Lady which also starred Christopher Lee and Patrick McNee. Morgan also appeared in the psychological thriller produced for USA Network. The film received one of the greatest ratings of all time.
